We are a couple from the States, so we were very excited yet hesitant to get married in Italy. The Wedding Issue team walked us through every single step, taking the fear out of it! How do I even begin? Finding the wedding planning company was pure chance and what a blessing it turned out to be. As a Kenyan couple with me, the bride, being part Italian, it was crucial to find an English-speaking wedding planning company to make the experience easier for my now husband and in-laws. International weddings come with more than just language barriers; they involve navigating cultural differences. Africa and Europe are two different worlds, and it’s vital to approach these differences with care and respect. Francesca, Ilaria, and Jasscel handled this with such grace and sensitivity. Being naturally anxious, I had moments where I went off the rails, but these three ladies managed everything like heroes, never making me feel out of line. During the wedding preparation, I found true friends in them, which was incredibly reassuring. Beyond the emotional support, their meticulous attention to detail, deadlines, communication, and execution of our vision was flawless. I wish I could get married again just to work with them. Let me emphasize this: they organized and coordinated a wedding with almost 400 guests in the Roman countryside, with most attendees flying in from Kenya, the USA, and Belgium, to a location not well-connected by public transport and with limited hotel availability, and they did it to perfection. Our guests are still talking about the wedding to this day! Ilaria, Francesca, and Jass, thank you, thank you, thank you for making our dream a reality.

My husband and I did a destination wedding in Tuscany, Italy last month. It was two years in the making. We vetted four different wedding planners. I remember the Wedding Issue being the last candidate we interviewed. We were sold from the moment they presented their past work and detailed what they will do for us. The team was very in tuned with our needs and particularly in-touch with what’s trendy. They relied on my Pinterest board to give them an idea on the kind of designs we would want for our wedding day and reception. What’s really important for us was that they were available to us whenever we had questions, considering that we live in Los Angeles and they’re based in Rome. Because of the 9-hour difference, they were very considerate of our time when we do our Zoom calls for planning. My now husband and I got engaged late in 2021 and wanted to be married in less than a year – October 2022. We had alot to do in a short time and planned to get married in Italy so figured having local planners to help us would be the way to go. We found the Wedding Issue here on the wedding wire. We loved them because a) they are lovely, friendly girls and b) they offered planning, styling and stationery design as one package which is a pretty unique offering.
Francesca, Jasscel and Ilaria are incredible planners. Francesca offered great advice, Jasscel designed be most beautiful stationery, and together they found us incredible vendors who bought our very particular ideas to life. Where they really shone was on the wedding weekend itself: we had 3 events – welcome dinner, wedding, and next-day brunch. We didn’t have to worry about a single thing. They setup and styled absolutely everything, they wrangled vendors and guests, they kept the events on time. I couldn’t have been more calm and relaxed if I tried! I love these women and I will be forever grateful for their help and support. HIRE THEM.
We started to plan our wedding by ourselves. We do live abroad Italy and therefore the organisation was from Denmark. We understood 3 months before the wedding that we would have need a support. To be us in loco. The girls saved us by helping with already chosen vendor and complete the full list of missing vendors. Of course they helped to coordinate all of them and to coordinate the day of the wedding. We felt them very close and passionate. The wedding was a success. They are always present and very elegant. Very very recommended.

Francesca was an outstanding planner. My (now) husband and I were planning our wedding in Italy from Canada which can be daunting.
